IRACAB is a non-governmental independent and exclusive accreditation scheme established by prominent experts in the sphere of management, management systems, quality of products, certification and accreditation of persons and certification bodies. The goal of IRACAB is to provide the public, customers and traders with appropriate assurance that the IRACAB certified producers and traders operate in accordance with the specified international standards, specifications and agreements.
What is the difference?
To compare with the „ordinary“ accreditation system IRACAB provide a simple and cost friendly system that brings significant reduction in prices of the certificates issued for the final customers and at the end enhance the competitiveness of the IRACAB members in the market. What is more, IRACAB is the first in the world to introduce the “Biaccreditation system”.
IRACAB brings an easy-to-understand accreditation and certification processes with a practical approach to the accredited and certified entities, their needs and their businesses respecting economic benefits of all interested parties. The whole scheme is designed to reduce the bureaucratic burden to a minimum. We are not interested in overloading our members with high administrative and financial requirements. Nevertheless, in the process of the creation of IRACAB system we were uncompromising in the requirements of the professionalism, trustworthiness, independence and honesty which are IRACAB core values.
Biaccreditation system
The world unique “Biaccreditation system” introduced by the IRACAB lies in 2 levels of accreditation:
IRACAB provides accreditation for the certification bodies based on which they are entitled to carry out audits and issue certificates with the IRACAB logo in the accredited industries.
Besides the ordinary accreditation of the certification bodies IRACAB is the first in the world to introduce the accreditation of individual auditors who themselves acquire right to issue the certificates with the IRACAB logo in the accredited industries. The independence and the trustworthiness of every single audit carried out by the accredited auditors is subject to direct supervision of the IRACAB Control Committee.

Therefore, IRACAB represents an exclusive association of the certification bodies and the auditors that undergone our rigorous testing and meet the high professional and moral standards set out in the Terms and Conditions of IRACAB Accreditation. These standards need to be met with no exception towards any IRACAB employee or IRACAB accredited entity.

IRACAB aims to provide the public, customers and traders with appropriate assurance that the IRACAB certified producers and traders operate in accordance with the specified standards. This goal can be achieved only via honest and independent audits. We in IRACAB understand the value of the certificate for the customer. Therefore, we accredit only high professional and independent experts. This is the only guarantee that the issued certificate is not just a piece of paper.
The same rules world-wide
IRACAB is a voluntary and exclusive association of certification bodies and auditors. IRACAB is not a state owned entity or any government connected entity and therefore it is not limited to any state jurisdiction. Thanks to this nature of IRACAB it is able to apply the unified rules world-wide.
